Mozy is an online backup service that allows both Windows and Mac users to back up an unlimited amount of data and files to offsite servers. The cloud service allows users to back up data continuously, manually or schedule updates. Originally released as a consumer product for end-users (MozyHome), Mozy later released a remote backup utility for businesses called MozyPro, with additional functionality and an administrative portal.

Both services allow consumers to perform an unlimited number of restores via the web or Windows Explorer.
Founded in 2005, Mozy was originally created by Berkeley Data Systems of American Fork, Utah.
In October 2007, EMC acquired Berkeley Data Systems, along with the Mozy product line for $76 million.
In November 2008, EMC Corporation created Decho Corporation, formed from the assets of Berkeley Data Systems and PI corporation. Now headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Mozy is Decho’s flagship product.
In April 2009, Mozy reached the 1 million customer mark.
